The fat loss market is one which is full of hype and lies. If you ask people for advice regarding how to lose weight, some will tell you to eat right and do exercises; others will simply advise you to exercise and do nothing else. The funny thing is that no one will tell you which foods to eat and which not to, or which exercises are most beneficial for overweight people, etc.
Believe it or not, while exercise plays a crucial role in fat loss, it doesn't mean that you can eat whatever you want! In fact, what you eat will actually determine how much fat you are going to lose! In this day and age of hype and misleading statements and twisted facts, it is often difficult to separate truth from the fluff. In this article I will tell you what foods you should be eating and what not!
While there are many types of foods you shouldn't eat, it is impossible to cover them all in this one short article. Therefore I will tell you about the four main types of foods that you stop consuming. If you cannot stop consuming those food products altogether, at least make an effort to cut down on their intake!
1. Food that is fried: Fried food is one demon that you must avoid at all costs! I know it is very tempting to have fried food because they are so tasty as well as easy to cook. But remember that fried foods contain a lot of saturated fats, and every time you eat fried foods, you are depositing a lot of fat inside your body. If you really want to fry food, do so with olive oil as it is a lot healthier for your body!
2. Bread that is white: Many people don't know that eating white bread can be detrimental to the health of obese people. As a matter of fact, white bread is very difficult to digest. Therefore, when you are eating white bread, you are depositing a lot of useless fats inside our body. Those useless fats will further contribute to your overall body weight. Want to know about an easy alternative? Well, eat whole wheat or whole flour bread, as they are a lot healthier as well as beneficial for your body!
3. Food that is processed: People often become lazy and buy ready-made foods from the market. After all, who has the time to cook? But believe it or not, your laziness will sabotage your fat loss efforts. You may or may not be aware of it, but processed foods often contain chemicals in the form of preservatives that help to preserve the food for a long time. These chemicals can prove to be injurious to your health, particularly if you are already overweight!
4. Food that is sweet: Everyone loves sweet foods, so I don't blame you for gorging on candies. However, the fact remains that sweets are bad for obese people. I am not asking you to give up sweets altogether because that is impossible. What you can do is cut down on their intake drastically. Every time you want to have a sweet candy, eat a fruit instead. Most fruits are not only sweet in taste but also a lot healthier than the calorie-rich candies.
Most dieticians will only tell you about what to eat. I sincerely hope this article gives you an idea of what NOT to eat.
